Unlike other storm solutions, the versatile Storm Strut™ by Wilson can be retrofitted onto any style or brand of door.As hurricane-force winds or tropical storms approach, the Storm Strut can be easily and quickly put into place. Simply bolt or weld the Strom Strut's support collar on the door, make provisions for the "shoulder harness" in the floor and your door is equipped to meet the next onslaught. When the storm is approaching, the collapsible Storm Strut is quickly and easily pinned in place. When the storm passes, storing the Storm Strut back against the panel or storing it remotely, takes just minutes. Unless needed and connected, the Storm Strut is never in the way.
